Dine Development Corporation's subsidiary, NOVA-Dine, is looking for a talented IT professional to join our team as a Linux/Unix Systems Engineer for the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. 

*Position is contingent upon contract need* 

*Must be open to working any shift*

• Perform initial discovery efforts, defining data collection requirements based on inputs needed to develop a successful migration plan
• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and benchmarks to define the future state migration plan, and the pre-migration activities necessary to close gaps
• Forecast backend infrastructure needs resulting from the migration of over 20 agencies into a single architecture
• Design solutions, integrate, configure, test and deploy numerous types server-based applications based on Linux, and VMware operating systems.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and migration workflows.
• Conduct data captures to obtain computing performance and system configuration information.
• Define migration plans that accelerate execution and minimize impact to the user community.
• Establish migration plans for complex n-tier applications and services.
• Gather needed data to forecast long-term capacity and performance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned. 

MUST HAVE A SECRET GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE

• Minimum of three (3) years relevant System Administration (additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)

•Great communication skills (to work well in a team environment)
• Proficiency with enterprise-class server-based services such as: directory services, collaboration tools, monitoring tools, and virtual infrastructure.
• Knowledge Management skills to follow and create documentation

• BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline

• Strong knowledge of networking, storage, cyber, and data center facilities a plus.

Certifications Required: IAT Level II
