We are looking to add a Remote Database Administrator (DBA) - Db2 for z/OS to our talented team!

• Plan and use Db2 utilities to back up and recover the Db2 Subsystem.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Db2 Subsystem problems.
• Plan, install, test, and implement Db2 service-level upgrades and patches. 
• Plan and run REBIND in support of Db2 service upgrades. 
• Plan, install, configure, and implement Db2 for z/OS in a DOD Systems data sharing group Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Support DOD Cyber Security requirements, Authority to Operate (ATO) preparation and security audits. 
• Support Coupling Facility sizing information for Db2 structures necessary for Sysplex operation.
• Support group buffer pools in support of planned or unplanned outages. 
• Support Db2 RACF configuration. 
• Provide technical assistance to appropriate groups. 

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and (7) seven years' experience with installation and maintenance of IBM Db2 database software in a large mainframe environment. 
  OR 
  
• (10) Ten years' experience with installation and maintenance of IBM Db2 database software in a large mainframe environment. 
• Must have one of the following DoD 8570 IAT II certifications prior to start: 
  • CCNA-Security
    
  • CySA+ **
    
  • GICSP
    
  • GSEC
    
  • Security+ CE
    
  • CND
    
  • SSCP

Security Clearance: 

• Active Secret clearance required
• The ability to obtain and maintain an interm Top Secret Clearance 

This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose requirements include security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
