- Four years of experience in the last eight years, installing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Java applications within IBM’s WebSphere Application Server on IBM z/OS and Linux Systems.
- Experience implementing SAF security under WebSphere Application Server using an external security manager.
- Experience implementing WebSphere Application Server authentication and authorization capabilities to secure administrative functions and applications.
- Experience in customizing WebSphere Application Server Web Server Plug-in to direct requests to the appropriate application server and perform workload balancing and fail-over among servers in a cluster.
- Experience in supporting WebSphere Application Server tools and development environments.
- Experience working with WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (ND) to provide clustering, high availability, and advanced management features for distributed configurations.
- Recent experience implementing WebSphere Application Server cells, nodes, and control region.
- Recent experience in customizing WebSphere Application Server to consist of multiple application servers maintained from a central administration point as well as cluster application servers for workload distribution.
- Experience customizing WebSphere Application Server profiles to support Java runtime environments.
- Experience implementing WebSphere Application Server stand-alone server environment.
- Experience in central administration using the deployment manager to manage a cell consisting of multiple nodes and node groups in a distributed server configuration.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing WebSphere Application Server high availability manager service to eliminate single points of failure in one of the application servers.
- Recent experience in implementing disaster recovery for WebSphere Application Server.
- Experience in supporting application deployment and planning for serviceability and problem determination.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing automated build processes to provide a simple and convenient method for developers to perform builds for development, test, and Production environments.
