Job Summary:

DDC-ITS is seeking a Program Manager to join our team to provide leadership and management to advance infrastructure, capabilities, and technologies for our clients. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy having experience to include but not limited to managing small to medium teams with close customer engagement, problem solving skills, information gathering from multiple stakeholder groups, delivering work products to meet customer organizational goal and objectives, and is able to work and communicate between experienced technical teams and non-technical employees and customers. 

Additionally, strong soft skills, oral and written communication skills are a must.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Confers with clients/end-users, provide beneficial information, and acts as trusted advisor.
  • Delivers on commitments to client/end-user. Develops and reviews project plan.
  • Determines key objectives, milestones, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Confers with project staff to outline project plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed standards.
  • Tracks, follows up, and supports all requests through to completion, advising all involved parties when a request is complete.
  • Understanding of Project and Program Management principles and techniques.
  • Ability to manage change and engage team members.
  • Ability to provide direction and leadership to others.
  • Manage and track project risks and mitigations to reduce or eliminate impacts. 
  • Implement and utilize project performance metrics for decision making and performance improvements. 
  • Facilitation and communication skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage and resolve client issues.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Exceptional leadership, customer relationships, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Tech-Savvy
  • Communication Skills
  • Outstanding working knowledge of DoD and/or Non-DoD supply chain management principles and performance evaluation processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and/or other related discipline with a minimum of fifteen (15) years management experience.
  • Experience with MS Office.
