Job Summary:

Dine Source is seeking an Application Develop (Sr.) to implement solution based on contract requirements to meet the needed PoC objectives. All work is within best practices for application design, development, test, and deployment framework(s) as required within the DoD. Work performed by the Application Developer is in collaboration with the government SMEs (i.e. COBOL programmers) to meet the requirement of executing the automated code translation and code optimization. The application developer shall proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project. Work directly with Software/Solutions Architect and Systems Engineer to ensure the PWS tasks are appropriated executed and accomplished. Is highly proficient and has demonstrated experience with software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST Application Programming Interfaces (API), mobile development, and Web Based API in the design, development, test, and deployment of software applications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solution based on PWS requirements to meet the needed PoC objectives.
  • Execute the automated code translation and code optimization using the tools and techniques implemented for the project.
  • Work directly with Software/Solutions Architect and Systems Engineer to ensure the contract tasks are appropriated executed and accomplished.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or closely related discipline.
  • IAT Level II certificate required
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. 
  • Ten (10) year’s total work experience developing applications for large complex IT systems.
  • Demonstrated results working legacy modernization projects for the federal government (DoD preferred) or modernization with legacy mainframe-based systems in the commercial banking/finance sector.
  • Demonstrated experience working with hierarchical database structures as well as relational database structures.
  • Demonstrated experience as a full stack developer.
  • Significant experience implementing software solutions leveraging agile SW methodology.
  • Significant experience with ML/AL processes and implementing solutions based on AI/ML.
