Job Summary:

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a Technical Recruiter to specialize in identifying, attracting, and hiring highly qualified contractors for federal government projects. This role requires a deep understanding of federal contracting requirements, security clearances, and compliance regulations. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and program leaders to fill critical technical roles, ensuring that DDC continues to meet its mission of delivering high-quality government services. 

 

Location: This position is hybrid, based in the Dayton, Ohio area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute strategic recruitment plans to source top-tier technical contractors for federal government contracts. 
  • Identify, screen, and qualify candidates with expertise in IT, cybersecurity, engineering, intelligence, and other technical fields. 
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of cleared professionals (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, Polygraph) to support upcoming and active government contracts. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, program managers, and HR teams to define job requirements and candidate profiles. 
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP, EEOC, and federal contract hiring regulations. 
  • Utilize job boards, networking events, LinkedIn, military transition programs, and specialized recruiting platforms to find talent. 
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including initial outreach, interviewing, and offer negotiations. 
  • Build relationships with potential candidates and maintain a talent database for future opportunities. 
  • Support proposal efforts by identifying key personnel for upcoming contract bids. 
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics, ensuring hiring goals are met on time and within budget. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on federal government contracting. 
  • Strong knowledge of DoD and federal agency requirements, including security clearance processes. 
  • Experience hiring for various contract vehicles (e.g., IDIQ, GWAC) and understanding of labor categories. 
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking System, ICIMS preferred, and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Monster and Indeed. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting 8(a), SDVOSB, or Native American-owned government contractors. 
  • Knowledge of compensation structures for government contracts (SCA, wage determinations, etc.). 
  • Familiarity with GSA schedules and subcontractor agreements.
