Job Summary:

Our North Stone Subsidiary is hiring a Technical Writer to support ITA’s enterprise IT infrastructure.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to enterprise IT infrastructure, including system architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Work closely with IT teams (networking, server, database, and security) to gather technical information and ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Create clear, user-friendly manuals, knowledge base articles, and internal reports to support operational teams and end-users.
  • Ensure documentation meets organizational standards for clarity, format, and style.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure documentation aligns with current IT infrastructure and best practices.
  • Continuously improve and update documentation to reflect changes in IT systems, tools, and processes.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple documentation projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Assist in creating training materials and guides for onboarding new staff or for use in cross-departmental training sessions.
  • Provide support for disaster recovery and business continuity documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in an IT or infrastructure-focused environment.
  • Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, databases, cloud platforms, and security protocols.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
