Job Summary:

Red Canyon Technologies is seeking an experienced Private Capital Project Specialist to support dynamic public-private initiatives aimed at increasing private investment in high-impact technology ventures. This role involves building bridges between government innovation programs and the private capital ecosystem, including venture capital firms, private equity, and strategic corporate investors. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of project management, private capital engagement, and strategic communication. This role requires at least 10 years of experience in project management, finance, or a related innovation ecosystem.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to design and manage initiatives that attract private capital investment into innovation-driven portfolios.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and engage directly with private investors to identify trends, inform program design, and match investment opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing program strategies that support scalability, performance tracking, and market outreach.
  • Provide operational and administrative support across investment-related projects, including workflow planning, meeting coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare high-quality written materials such as white papers, investor briefings, presentations, meeting summaries, and branding collateral.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with program managers, directors, and financial analysts to ensure alignment of capital strategies with broader project goals.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform project performance, improve investor relations, and guide decision-making.
  • Provide input on contract documentation and procurement planning in support of investment-related initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Work Environment:
This is a remote-first position with occasional travel required for strategic planning meetings, leadership briefings, or collaborative work sessions. Red Canyon Technologies values autonomy, accountability, and a collaborative team environment.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret clearace required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, venture finance, corporate innovation, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, investment structures, and private investor engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex information into actionable insights and professional deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting technical and strategic documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High degree of initiative, accountability, and comfort working independently.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.

Preferred:

  • PMP, DAWIA, or equivalent certifications in project or acquisition management.
  • Prior experience supporting innovation programs, dual-use technology ventures, or public-private partnerships.
