Job Summary:

Red Canyon Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager / Strategy Coordinator to join our professional services team in support of a prominent federal program. This senior-level role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a background in managing complex projects, organizational transformation, and high-level stakeholder engagement. The selected candidate will play a critical role in advancing program objectives by aligning operations with strategy, driving process improvements, and supporting executive decision-making.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the translation of strategic concepts into detailed operational plans and support their implementation across program functions.
  • Advise leadership on organizational structure and process optimization to meet evolving program priorities.
  • Evaluate business practices and policies, recommending re-engineering initiatives to increase efficiency and achieve performance goals.
  • Support strategic communications, documentation, and execution of transition and commercialization initiatives.
  • Coordinate high-level planning sessions, program reviews, and leadership briefings.
  • Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution and alignment with program strategies.
  • Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of role-based training programs and internal change management efforts.
  • Manage special projects, providing planning, coordination, and oversight to ensure successful delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
This is a remote-first position with occasional travel required for strategic planning meetings, leadership briefings, or collaborative work sessions. Red Canyon Technologies values autonomy, accountability, and a collaborative team environment.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret clearance required!
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, strategic planning, or organizational consulting.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary projects and implementing enterprise-level process improvements.
  • Experience in government innovation, acquisition, or technology transition environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with experience delivering executive-level presentations and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration/project management tools.
