Job Summary:

What You Will Be Doing

As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the management, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to support the organization's business processes and IT service management strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, maintain system integrity, and ensure seamless integration across business units.

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting the ServiceNow platform, ensuring that it aligns with business objectives and complies with industry standards. Your contributions will drive process efficiency, data accuracy, and enhanced user experiences across the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including incident, change, and problem management modules.
  • Develop and configure ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
  • Create and manage user roles, access controls, and permissions.
  • Implement ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems and other business applications.
  • Monitor platform performance, identify issues, and apply necessary patches or upgrades.
  • Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain data integrity by implementing data management policies and procedures.
  • Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into platform usage and service delivery.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator with hands-on configuration and customization expertise.
  • Extensive experience in workflow management and creation.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules including Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML, and AngularJS).
  • 8570/8140 certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications (a plus):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) or IT Business Management (ITBM).
  • Experience with cloud-based implementations.
  • Experience in USAF Cloud One
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Background in enterprise-level ServiceNow implementation projects.
