Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Project Analyst & QA Lead to join our team. This unique role combines elements of project management, business analysis, and quality assurance to ensure our projects are delivered successfully, align with business goals, and meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, a detailed understanding of business processes, hands-on experience with quality assurance methodologies, and experience with Agile practices and tools like Jira.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and insights that drive business improvements.
  • Develop and document project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with project managers.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring effective participation and outcomes.
  • Manage project scope, resources, and budget, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Design and implement test strategies, test cases, and test plans to ensure product quality.
  • Perform quality assurance activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring defects are identified and addressed.
  • Utilize Jira for tracking project progress, managing tasks, issues, and bugs, and providing transparency to stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • US citizen with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a role that combines business analysis, project management, and quality assurance support.
  • Proven experience managing projects using Agile methodologies (preferably SAFe).
  • Proficiency in Jira for project tracking and issue management.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and methodologies, including testing frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Project Management: Intermediate
  • Experience developing timelines, managing scope, and coordinating resources.
  • Business Analysis: Intermediate to Advanced
  • Proficient in requirement gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
  • Quality Assurance: Intermediate
  • Skillful in creating test plans, executing tests, and reporting on findings.
  • Agile Methodologies: Advanced
  • Experienced in facilitating Agile processes and using tools like Jira for project execution.
