Job Summary:

DDC is seeking an experienced Environmental Support Services Site Lead to oversee environmental support services at NASA Langley Research Center. The Site Lead will provide direct supervision, ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements, and coordinate day-to-day operation

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage on-site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Oversee delivery of all technical services including audits, inspections, environmental reporting, permitting, and data management.
  • Maintain performance quality and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with Government representatives, attend audits, and prepare status reports.
  • Oversee safety and health program for all on-site personnel.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional-level environmental work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct supervisory experience.

Required Expertise:

  • Demonstrated autonomy, analytical depth, and decision-making responsibility.
  • Broad stakeholder engagement including regulatory and program leadership.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full range of environmental compliance programs. Specific program include but are not limited to: Air Emissions, Solid and hazardous waste management, Above and underground storage tanks, Stormwater Management, Wastewater Systems, NEPA, and Natural/Cultural Resource Programs.
