Job Summary:

As an Oracle EBS AppsDBA with OCI experience at Diné Development Corporation (DDC) - Source, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and optimal performance of our Oracle EBS Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Oracle ERP  application (EBS) hosted on-prem & OCI/Cloud1 infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Oracle ERP EBS application administration, coupled with hands-on experience in managing databases in OCI cloud environments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Installing, cloning, configuring, and integrating Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) 12.2 with Oracle RDBMS 12c/19c, technical stack, and custom-developed objects; monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the eBS application/database.

  • Providing technical direction on the integration of MROi solution components with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), DISA, and ERP Common Services; supporting other AFLCMC/PEO BES programs/systems as directed by the MROi PM and/or Chief Engineer.

  • Building, upgrading, patching, and maintaining environments for the most recent versions of Oracle eBS and databases in coordination with the core DBA team.

  • Supporting the MROi System Implementer, MROi Integrated Program Office (IPO), and other AFLCMC/PEO BES programs, as directed by the MROi PM and/or Chief Engineer, in activities related to architecture, design, installation, configuration, integration, performance, and operations of MROi software solution components.

  • Assisting ERP Common Services, PMO architects, System Implementers, and PMO developers with instantiating and maintaining multiple eBS instances and technology stack components across all DISA environments (development, test, training, reporting, and production).

  • Providing guidance to the PMO on architectural decisions that impact solution performance and scalability.

  • Monitoring systems, tuning performance, balancing loads, and planning capacity.

  • Tracking and monitoring development, test, training, reporting, and production environments; supporting issue resolution.

  • Defining operational procedures and creating system documentation (CDRLs, SOPs, etc.).

  • Implementing and maintaining application and database security.

  • Interfacing with Oracle Support to resolve technical issues.

  • Conducting design and architecture reviews from a performance engineering perspective.

  • Developing and executing performance tests and benchmarks.

  • Assisting development and support staff with analyzing query execution plans and cost.

  • Recommending methods to optimize performance.

  • Establishing application and database performance best practices for program designs.

  • Leading teams in identifying performance bottlenecks, gathering and interpreting diagnostics, diagnosing issues, and recommending solutions.

  • Managing processes related to change management.

  • Collaborating with a team of Oracle Application DBAs to support the MROi user community.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Must be US Citizen with active Secret clearance. Must have ability to obtain Top Secret clearance once hired. 
  • IAT Level II Certification or Higher Level Certificate (Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.)
  •  Must have hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Must have application ADOP Patching Cycles, User Provisioning, Roles/Responsibility assignment, E-Business Suite Application Installation, Cloning, Refreshing instance, and Online ADOP Patching with debugging.
  • BS/BA in Information Technology or related technical discipline
  • 5 to 7 years of experience within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) R12.2 application environment both Technical and System Administrator Responsibilities.
  • Oracle ERP Application 12c (Installation, Cloning, configuration, upgrade and patching)
  • Working experience in Linux and/or Solaris

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with the US Air Force
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate/Advanced level certification will be a big plus
  • Oracle E-Business Suite Certification
  • Knowledge of Oracle RAC, RMAN
  • Experience in Middleware for Oracle Fusion, Oracle Identity and Access Management, Oracle SOA, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Application Express (APEX) a plus
  • Experience in DevSecOps tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, and Ansible a plus
  • Experience working with virtual, blended and separate subcontractor teams
  • Knowledge of private or public cloud technology a plus.
