Job Summary:

We are seeking a Software Systems Engineer to support the sustainment and modernization of government systems by designing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software and networked systems. This role bridges software development and network integration to ensure operational readiness.

 

*This position is contingent upon contract award*

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and define specifications for complex operating software applications.
  • Modify, maintain, and enhance existing DSS applications.
  • Perform operating system maintenance and troubleshooting of large telecommunications networks.
  • Evaluate and integrate new software technologies and tools.
  • Support design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of system software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  •  Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance. 
  • Certification: Must have one of the qualifying DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification which can include one (1) of the following:
    • CCNA Security
    • CySA+
    • GICSP
    • GSEC
    • Security+ CE
    • CND
    • SSCP
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in software systems engineering and network integration.

  • Proficiency with operating systems, telecommunications networks, and enterprise software.

  • Strong background in sustainment of large-scale logistics/warehouse management systems preferred.
