Job Summary:

The Enterprise Architect will work with a team to provide high-quality service to our customers and participate in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.   They will have a deep understanding of DoD business transformation and processes, DoD organizational structure, and experience in developing briefings and responses to executives within the organization. The Enterprise Architect will possess extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with the DoD Architecture Framework and the Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA). They will lead the development and documentation of the enterprise's business processes and portfolio system integration.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present solutions to various levels of management and work across different groups, and perform limited project management to implement the proposed solution
  • Support data architecture and modeling 
  • Provide general SME and EA Configuration Management and system support for the portfolio
  • Capable of developing and maintaining EA artifacts to support portfolio management 
  • Follow all EA policy, laws, and regulations in development activities 
  • Support analysis of proposed system changes and modernization approaches in order to determine proposed enterprise changes to the portfolio
  • Maintain configuration control of the enterprise architecture 

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

 

You'll need to have:

  • Current Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required
  • Experience with developing taxonomy, terms and definitions, and controlled vocabularies
  • Experience with developing data reference models
  • Understanding DoDAF and all viewpoints, DoD and AF enterprise architecture policy, guidance and reference models
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, development, and integration, or related activities

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with supporting DoD business information system projects
  • Experience with Cameo
  • Experience with UAF
  • Experience with the JSCA
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to lead a small coordinated team
  • Good documentation and process skills
