Diné Source is seeking a Senior MBSE Engineer to support mission-critical systems engineering efforts within a complex, distributed environment. The Senior MBSE Engineer will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to design, develop, integrate, and sustain end-to-end systems throughout their lifecycle. This role supports the development of detailed system requirements, interface definitions, and verification strategies to ensure compliance with client requirements, government standards, and program objectives.

The Senior MBSE Engineer will develop and maintain MBSE artifacts, including block definition diagrams, internal block diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams, using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or similar platforms. The engineer will translate high-level system strategies into detailed, quantifiable, and testable requirements and maintain traceability across system elements. The role includes collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to design system interfaces, allocate requirements across hardware and software components, and support end-to-end system decomposition. The Senior MBSE Engineer will develop system-level verification procedures and customer acceptance criteria, review and validate test plans, and support integration activities to ensure requirements compliance and seamless system operation. The position also requires adherence to systems engineering lifecycle processes, configuration management controls, and applicable cybersecurity and government standards.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $152,000
The compensation range listed for this position is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is intended to reflect the typical range Diné Development Corporation and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role. Final compensation may vary and is determined based on factors such as the position’s responsibilities, relevant education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data alignment, and applicable collective bargaining agreements or laws.
